Here
are some ideas and links to assist learning the Sanskrit language.
Traditionally, Sanskrit can be learned by repetative chanting and
memorization.
I like
to listen to Sanskrit while reading it. I found a variety of sources
for products that allow me to look, listen and learn.

For the Guru Gita I found the audio at one source and the book I
like at another. Audio: Siddha
Yoga bookstore Look
under Audio products for Swadhyaya (the recitation and chanting
of sacred texts). Both the one by Swami Muktananda and the one by
Gurumayi Chidvilasananda are awesome. This bookstore offers the
Guru Gita in devanagari at an affordable price, but it is only devanagari
and hard for the beginner to find and follow the chant. I found
a great translation in a book offered at www.shreemaa.org
- "The Guru and the Goddess"
ISBN 1-887472-78-9 This book has the devanagari, transliteration
and english translation. It also has a Sanskrit text and translation
of the LALITA TRISHATI STOTRAM. The You can find books and Audio
at this site under Dharma Tools.
Lalita
Trishate Strotram -

of Sri Vidya, an explanation of the Sri Cakra Yantra, and exposition

Bhagavad
Gita
There are many source for the Bhagavad Gita, both printed in devanagari
and recorded for listening. The Chinmaya Mission
has a great selection.
I
especially like the translation by Winthrop Sargeant because it
has the individual words translated. Also nice is the cassette available
from American Sanskrit
Institute. It has chapter 2 and 3 along with transliterated
text for chanting along.
The
Chinmaya Mission has a LOT of books and tapes http://www.chinmayapublications.org
HaidiYakhandi
Sapta Sati from http://www.babajiashram.org

when he offered it on Ebay
The
Hanuman Chalisa There seems to be a lot of reordings of the
Hanuman Chalisa and also ways to find the devanagari for this favorite
chant. Try this site www.hanuman.com
